The name says that the trek heads to the base of Mount Annapurna but let me introduce you to the range of Annapurna. In the Annapurna rang there are four Annapurna named Annapurna I (8091 m), Annapurna II(7937m), Annapurna III, Annapurna IV and other like Gangapurna, Tilicho etc. 

Which Base camp is the real Annapurna Base camp trek?

The real Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) trek is specifically associated with Annapurna I. Annapurna I is the highest peak in the Annapurna range, standing at 8,091 meters (26,545 feet). The base camp for this peak is located at an altitude of 4,130 meters (13,549 feet) and is the main destination for trekkers undertaking the Annapurna Base Camp trek.

Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (850m) Duration: 6-7 hours.

Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul

Trek to Chhomrong (2,170m) Duration: 5-6 hours.

Trek to Himalayan (2,920m) Duration: 5-6 hours.

Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m) Via Machhapuchchhre Base Camp (3,720m) Duration: 5-6 hours.
