Day 1:

Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1,503m) – Drive (7-8 hours)

Your adventure begins with an early morning departure from Kathmandu. The scenic drive follows the Trishuli River, passing through bustling towns, terraced farmlands, green hills, and traditional villages.

As the road climbs into the Langtang region, enjoy views of rural Nepal and distant Himalayan peaks. After passing through Dhunche, descend to Syabrubesi, the gateway to the Langtang Valley

Day 2:

Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1,503m) – Drive (7-8 hours)

After breakfast, begin trekking along the Langtang Khola. The trail crosses suspension bridges and winds through dense forests of oak, maple, bamboo, and rhododendron.

The area is home to wildlife including red pandas, Himalayan black bears, and various bird species. Gradually ascend through Bamboo and Rimche before reaching Lama Hotel, nestled within a forested valley.

Day 3:

Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (3,430m) – Trek (6-7 hours)

Today's trail climbs steadily through forests before emerging into wider valleys. As you gain elevation, the views become increasingly spectacular.

Pass through Ghodatabela, where the first dramatic views of the Langtang Himal range appear. Continue through yak pastures and traditional settlements before arriving at Langtang Village.

Day 4:

Langtang Village to Kyanjin Gompa (3,870m) – Trek (3-4 hours) + Explore

A shorter trekking day allows for gradual acclimatization. The trail follows open alpine landscapes with magnificent views of glaciers and snow-covered peaks.

Arrive at Kyanjin Gompa, the spiritual and cultural center of the valley. Visit the ancient monastery and the famous local cheese factory established with Swiss assistance.

Day 5 :

Hike to Kyanjin Ri (4,773m) or Tserko Ri (5,000m) – Rest & Acclimatization

Option 1: Kyanjin Ri (4,773m)

A relatively shorter but steep climb offering one of the finest viewpoints in the Langtang region. From the summit, enjoy panoramic views of:

  • Dorje Lakpa

Option 2: Tserko Ri (5,000m)
