Detailed Itinerary

1

Day 1:

Arrival in Kathmandu (1300m) and transfer to hotel.

Arrive in Kathmandu and take the day to rest and recover from your journey. In the evening, enjoy a warm welcome dinner with the Master Himalaya team. If you still have some energy, you can explore a few of the city’s rich cultural and historical sites. This day also includes a trip briefing for the upcoming Everest Base Camp trek and the Lobuche Peak Climbing section of the expedition, ensuring proper preparation for high-altitude trekking and peak climbing in Nepal.

Day 2:

Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2840m) and trek to Phakding (2610m) Duration: 4-5 hours.

On the first day, we take a short 35-minute flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, either on a fixed-wing plane or by helicopter (with slight variations in cost). After arriving in Lukla, we begin our trek toward Phakding. Since we reach Lukla early in the morning, it’s not practical to stay there for the whole day. We can have dinner either in Lukla or at one of the many hotels along the trail. This marks the first walking day of the combined Everest Base Camp trek and Lobuche Peak itinerary, passing Sherpa settlements and riverside trails.

Day 3:

Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m) Duration 5-6 hours.

After we reach Phakding now we head towards our first popular renowned destination Namche Bazzar, the Gate way to Everest base camp. Along the way, we stop at Monjo for lunch, where the entry checkpoint for Sagarmatha National Park is also located. Namche Bazaar, situated at an altitude of 3,500 m, is the main trading center and hub of the Khumbu (Everest) region. You’ll also find a variety of luxury hotels here, offering comfort in the heart of the Himalayas marking the park entry point on this Lobuche Peak and other climbing peaks in Everest Region of Nepal along with Everest Base Camp Trek.

Day 4:

Acclimatization Day at Namche Bazaar: (3,440m/11,284ft)

Acclimatization Hike to Hotel Everest View, this 2-3 hour trek provides a gradual altitude gain, helping your body adjust. Clear weather offers stunning views of Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and other peaks - an important visual preview before Lobuche Peak Climbing.

Day 5:

Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,870m/12,694ft) Duration: 5-6 hours.

Next destination Tengboche , about a 5-6 hour walk from Namche. From here, trekkers often take different routes those heading to Gokyo Lake or attempting high passes like Renjo La and Cho La turn toward Phortse, while trekkers bound for Everest Base Camp and climbers continuing toward Lobuche Peak climbing go straight ahead. Tengboche is spiritually significant, home to some of the most powerful monasteries in the Everest region. It also serves as the key junction for the Everest Three Passes trek.

Day 6:

Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4,360 m/14,300 ft) Duration 5-6 hours

Next destination is either Dingboche or Pheriche. You can go any anywhere you wish. It is again a two way route. Master Himalaya Treks and Expedition also own hotel at Dingboche named as Family guest house. From Dingboche you can also head towards Kongma-la pass via Chukkung and reach lobuche(Need Extra Days). Dingboche is also an important stopping point for climbers preparing for Lobuche Peak climbing.

Day 7:

Acclimatization day at Dingboche and hike to Chukkung Valley (4730m) Duration: 4-5 hours.

Since we are climbing higher and higher we must priorities safety. So, another rest day at dingboche or pheriche either you can also stay one night at dingboche walk a little and stay another night at pheriche or stay at pheriche while returning. . From dingboche you can also head towards Kongma -la pass via chukkung and reach lobuche (It will take two Extra Days). This acclimatization day is equally essential for the upcoming ascent toward Lobuche Peak.

Day 8:

Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4930) Duration: 5-6 hours.

The next popular destination is Lobuche (4,928 m), named after the nearby Lobuche Peak, which rises to 6,119 m. It’s one of the most popular 6,000-meter expedition peaks, and you’ll often see climbers here fulfilling their dream of summiting Lobuche. The area also features an old research center known as the Lobuche Pyramid. Master Himalaya Treks and Expedition owns a hotel in Lobuche, providing supportive logistics and reliable accommodation for Everest Base Camp trekking groups as well as the Lobuche Peak climbers.

Day 9:

Trek from Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5170 m/16,961ft) and hike to Everest Base Camp (5364 m/17,594 ft) Duration: 6-7 hours.

You are now heading toward the altitude of 5364 m the iconic Everest Base Camp - crossing Gorakshep along the way. Since there are no permanent hotels at the Base Camp, we leave our backpacks at Gorakshep, hike to Everest Base Camp to experience its breathtaking beauty, and then return to Gorakshep for an overnight stay. This day also supports acclimatization before starting the Lobuche Peak climbing section of the expedition.

Day 10:

Hike up to Kala Patthar (5545 m/18,192 ft) and trek to Lobuche (4940 m/16,207 ft) Duration: 6-7 hours.

After we wake up early morning we are going for a one last view of the entire range of  The Everest. Since we cannot see a panoramic view from Gorekshep we hike to kala patther of the altitude higher than Everest base camp 5644 m see the full range and get down to Pheriche.  we are moving down to low altitude we can reach Pheriche in about 7-8 hours. Optional helicopter exit upgrades are also available in some Everest Base Camp trekking package plans for those who prefer a quicker return. Returning toward Lobuche also positions you well for the upcoming Lobuche peak climb.

Day 11:

Trek from Lobuche to Lobuche Base Camp (4865m/15,957 ft) Duration 3-4 hours.

From Lobuche a little down hill steps to the base camp of lobuche, Hidden camp apart from the main trail. Set a camp and stay in the and enjoy the night view. This marks the beginning of the Lobuche Peak climbing phase of the expedition.

Day 12:

Trek from Lobuche Base Camp to Lobuche High Camp (5,600m/18,368 ft) Duration: 3-4 hours.

A gentle climb towards the high camp. it takes about 4 hours to reach high camp from the base camp. Prepare for the final climb with the shepra guide. Overnight at high camp. Guides will check all equipment and ensure full readiness for summit day.

Day 13:

Summit Lobuche Peak (6119m/20,070 ft) & back to Base Camp Duration: 7-10 hours.

Climbing start early morning towards the Lobuche Peak. You will face some technical section in the way. Guide will fix the rope in the required places. After the successful climb you will be welcomed with the paranoic view of Mt Everest ,Mt Lotse, Mt Amadablam with all other nearby peaks. This summit is one of the major highlights of peak climbing in Nepal. Safely descend the same route back to base camp.

Day 14:

Trek from Lobuche Base Camp to Pangobche (3930 m / 12900 ft) Duration: 5-6 hours.

Handing over all the garbage and the SPCC pollution control we descend towards the Pangboche. it takes about 5-6 hours pasiing through the Rhododendron and juipner forest. After completing the Lobuche Peak expedition, this descent helps the body recover from high altitude.

Day 15:

Trek from Pangboche to Namche Bazzar (3,440 m/11,280 ft) Duration: 5-6 hours.

Morning after breakfast after every thing is organized, start to descend to Namche Bazzar. In about 6-8 hours you will reach Namche bazzar. It is a same route as before as you trek from Namche to Tengboche. This marks the return to lower elevations after the climbing section.

Day 16:

Trek from Namche to Lukla (2840m) Duration: 7-8 hours.

You will continue your trek to Lukla. You see the world's most dangerous airport of all time. Celebrate the successful completion of the Lobuche Peak climbing journey.

Day 17:

Fly back to Kathmandu; flight Duration: 30 minutes.

Take a flight back to Kathmandu from Lukla. Leaving your footprints and taking all the memories with you. In the evening, join the Master Himalaya team for a warm farewell dinner and share your Lobuche Peak climbing experience.

Day 18:

Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport.

One of our team members will drop you at Tribhuvan International Airport. This concludes your successful Lobuche Peak Climbing adventure in Nepal.
