Detailed Itinerary

Day 1:

Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, you can relax after your journey or explore the vibrant streets of the city. Depending on your arrival time, visit local markets, traditional courtyards, and temples. In the evening, attend a trek briefing and final equipment check.

Day 2:

Drive from Kathmandu to Samari Bhanjyang (1250m) via Trishuli Bazaar; Duration: 6-7 hours.

After breakfast, begin a scenic drive northwest from Kathmandu. The road follows the Trishuli River valley, passing through villages, terraced farms, and hillsides. After reaching the Dhading region, continue on rural mountain roads to Samari Bhanjyang.

The journey offers the first glimpse of rural Nepal and the landscapes that characterize the lower Ganesh Himal region.

Trek from Samari Bhanjyang to Katunje Bazaar (7,65m) Duration: 5-6 hours.

Arrive at Katunje Bazaar, a small local trading center where villagers gather for commerce and social activities.

Trek from Chalise to Hindung (2,345m) Duration: 5-6 hours.

Hindung, also known as Gomba Danda, is a peaceful settlement with a strong Buddhist influence and panoramic mountain scenery.

Trek from Hindung to Rajgang Kharka (2,570m) Duration: 5-6 hours.

The route enters alpine terrain characterized by yak pastures, grazing lands, and sparse settlements. The landscape opens up dramatically, revealing snow-capped peaks and broad valleys.

Rajgang Kharka is a seasonal grazing area surrounded by magnificent mountain views.

Trek from Rajgang Kharka to Kalo Seto Kunda (Black and White Lake), Ganesh Himal Base Camp (3,774m) Duration: 7-9 hrs

Today is one of the trek's highlights. Ascend through alpine meadows and rugged mountain terrain toward the sacred lakes known as Kalo Seto Kunda (Black and White Lakes).

The lakes are culturally and spiritually significant to local communities. Continuing onward, reach Ganesh Himal Base Camp, surrounded by towering peaks, glaciers, and pristine wilderness.

Rest day at the Ganesh Himal Base Camp. Explore in and around Kalo Seto Kunda.

A full day for rest, acclimatization, and exploration. Walk around the sacred Kalo Seto Kunda lakes and enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding Himalayan landscape.

Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the dramatic scenery, including glaciers, high peaks, alpine vegetation, and wildlife.

Trek from Ganesh Himal Base Camp to Rajgang Kharka (2,570m) Duration: 5-6 hours.

Arrive back at Rajgang Kharka for an overnight stay.

Trek from Rajgang Kharka to Chalise (2,363m) Duration: 5-6 hours.

Trek from Chalise to Laba Besi (1,500m) Duration: 5-6 hours.

The trail gradually descends through cultivated fields and subtropical forests. As the altitude decreases, temperatures become warmer and vegetation more diverse.

Laba Besi is a charming riverside settlement offering a relaxed atmosphere.

Trek from Laba Besi to Manyang Bhanjyang (2,934m) Duration: 5-6 hours.

Today's route involves a significant ascent through forests and ridges. The trail passes remote villages and offers excellent views of surrounding hills and mountain ranges.

Manyang Bhanjyang is a high mountain pass area known for its spectacular scenery and peaceful environment.

Trek from Manyang Bhanjyang to Majhgaun (2,200m) Duration: 6-7 hours.

After crossing high ridges, descend through forests and agricultural terraces toward Majhgaun. Along the way, enjoy cultural encounters with local villagers and magnificent views of the countryside.

Majhgaun is a traditional hill village with a rich rural lifestyle.

Trek from Majhgaun to Budathum (7,50m) Duration: 5-6 hours.

A long descent takes you through lower hills, terraced farmland, and river valleys. The warmer climate and lush vegetation signal your return to lower elevations.

Budathum is situated near the Budhi Gandaki River and serves as an important local settlement.

Trek to Arughat Bazaar (9,500m) and drive from Arughat Bazaar to Kathmandu; Duration: 9-10 hours.

Complete the final section of the trek to Arughat Bazaar. After celebrating the completion of your adventure, board a vehicle for the return drive to Kathmandu.

The journey follows scenic river valleys and rural landscapes before reaching the capital city.

Transfer to International Airport
