Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla, Trek to Phakding

DAY 1:
Begin your adventure with a scenic flight to Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region. From here, you’ll start trekking towards Phakding, a small village nestled along the Dudh Koshi River.

DAY 2:
Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar
Today’s trek takes you to the Sherpa capital, Namche Bazaar, famous for its vibrant markets, stunning mountain views, and rich cultural heritage. En route, you'll get your first glimpse of Mount Everest and other majestic peaks.

DAY 3:
Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar
Acclimatization Hike to Hotel Everest View, this 2-3 hour trek provides a gradual altitude gain, helping your body adjust. If the weather is clear, you'll get stunning views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and other peaks.

DAY 4:
Trek from Namche Bazaar to Dole
Leave the main Everest trail and head towards Dole, climbing steadily through forests of rhododendron and pine. Along the way, you’ll pass by yak pastures and enjoy views of Khumbila and Taboche peaks.

DAY 5:
Trek from Dole to Machhermo
A relatively short trek today takes you to Machhermo, a small village surrounded by snow-capped peaks. This day also helps your body acclimatize further, preparing you for higher altitudes.

DAY 6:
Trek from Machhermo to Gokyo (Afternoon hike to Gokyo Ri)
Trek to Gokyo, passing by the breathtaking Gokyo Lakes—a series of turquoise alpine lakes surrounded by mountains. The beauty of these lakes is unparalleled in the Himalayas.

DAY 7:
Morning hike to Gokyo 4th Lake, Trek to Thagnak
An early morning hike up Gokyo Ri rewards you with a 360-degree panorama of some of the world's highest peaks, including Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu. After soaking in the views, descend to Gokyo and trek onward to Thagnak, crossing the mighty Ngozumpa Glacier.

DAY 8:
Cross Cho La Pass, Trek to Dzongla
This is one of the most challenging yet rewarding days of the trek. You’ll ascend the steep, icy trail to Cho La Pass, where you'll be greeted by spectacular views of snow-capped peaks and glaciers. After the pass, descend carefully to the village of Dzongla.

DAY 9:
Trek from Dzongla to Lobuche
Today’s trek takes you along the base of towering peaks, passing through scenic landscapes before arriving at Lobuche, where you’ll rest and prepare for the final approach to Everest Base Camp.

DAY 10:
Trek from Lobuche to Gorakshep, Hike to Everest base camp
After a challenging morning trek to Gorakshep, you’ll continue onward to reach the iconic Everest Base Camp. Spend some time soaking in the glory of Everest before returning to Gorakshep for the night.

DAY 11:
Morning hike to Kalapatther, Trek to Pheriche
Rise early to hike up to Kala Patthar, the best vantage point for an up-close view of Everest. After taking in the views, descend to Pheriche for an overnight stay.

DAY 12:
Trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar
Retrace your steps through the familiar terrain of the Everest region, trekking back to Namche Bazaar for a relaxing evening in this lively Sherpa hub.

DAY 13:
Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla
Enjoy your final day of trekking as you descend to Lukla, where you can celebrate the success of your journey with your trekking team.

DAY 14:
Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu
Fly back to Kathmandu and enjoy a free day exploring the city’s cultural treasures, such as Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath Temple, or Boudhanath Stupa.
