Early in the morning, transfer to the airport for your mountain flight. Depending on the season and air traffic conditions, flights operate either from Kathmandu or from Manthali Airport in Ramechhap.

Enjoy a thrilling flight to Tenzing-Hillary Airport, considered one of the world's most scenic mountain airports and a common gateway for Everest Base Camp helicopter tour clients.

After meeting the trekking crew, begin an easy trek through beautiful Sherpa villages, crossing suspension bridges and following the Dudh Koshi River valley to Phakding, where you'll experience your first night of Everest Base Camp trek accommodation.

3

Day 3:

Trek to Namche Bazaar from Phakding (3,440 m) – 5 to 6 hours. Overnight at Guesthouse

Today's trek enters Sagarmatha National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Cross several suspension bridges, including the famous Hillary Suspension Bridge. The trail gradually ascends through pine forests and mountain villages before making a challenging climb to Namche Bazaar.

Weather permitting, enjoy your first glimpse of Mount Everest along the way.

Today is the highlight of your journey.

Board a shared helicopter from Namche Bazaar for an unforgettable aerial adventure over the Khumbu Glacier and Everest region. Due to high-altitude operational limits, helicopter services may conduct a shuttle transfer via Pheriche before continuing toward Everest Base Camp.

Fly over:

  • Khumbu Glacier
  • Khumbu Icefall

The helicopter lands at Kalapatthar (5,555m), the most famous viewpoint in the Everest region. After the landing experience, fly back to Lukla.

Day 6:

After breakfast, board your return flight from Lukla. Enjoy one final aerial perspective of the Himalayas before arriving in Kathmandu (or via Manthali during peak flight seasons).
