Detailed Itinerary

1

Day 1:

Drive from Kathmandu to Dunche (2030m), 6-7 hours

Embark on an early morning journey as we leave bustling Kathmandu for the serene town of Dhunche. The 5-6 hour drive unfolds picturesque settlements and meadows, accompanied by the soothing view of the Trishuli River. Dhunche, a small settlement and the headquarters of Rasuwa District, welcomes us. After a delightful evening stroll through the village, we settle into a cozy tea house for the night.

2

Day 2:

Trek to Chandan Bari (3330m), 5-6 hours walk

After a hearty breakfast in Dhunche, we commence our trek to Chandanwari. The path leads us through Deurali, a charming village with a few tea houses. The trail, adorned with streamlets and cascades, takes us to Dhimsa. As we ascend through beautiful pine forests, the slightly challenging climb brings us to Chandanwari (Sing Gompa). Explore the Yak cheese factory and monastery before a relaxing evening and overnight stay.

DAy 3:

Trek to Laurabina (3900m) 3-4 hrs walk

The day begins with a trek to Laurabina, a journey of 3-4 hours. Revel in the panoramic views of Langtang Lirung, Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, and Langtang Ri from Lauribinayak. The serene atmosphere and breathtaking vistas set the stage for a peaceful overnight stay.

Day 4:

Trek to Gosaikunda (4380m), about 3 hours walk: and Back to Laurebina

Hiking uphill from Chandanwari, today's journey is more demanding. As the trail ascends, the surroundings transition to barren hills, accompanied by a chilly breeze. Pass through Cholangpaty, enjoying close views of Langtang Lirung, Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, and Langtang Ri. The trail leads to Lauribinayak, offering a panoramic spectacle. Further ascent takes us to Sakyamuni temple, Saraswati Kunda, Bhairav Kunda, and the majestic Gosaikunda. Spend the night in a tea house, surrounded by the beauty of the lakes.

Day 5:

Trek Down to Dhunche (2100m)

After exploring Gosaikunda, we retrace our steps downhill. Descend through Lauribinayak, Dhimsa, and Deurali, savoring the captivating views and the flavor of Chandanwari's cheese.
